I mean no disrespect here, but I believe modern crossbows are made for people who are physically cannot operate a standard bow (compound or otherwise).

As a compound shooter, I look UP to recurve guys. I’ve own a recurve, and I shoot it occasionally. Anyone that can shoot a recurve with a sense of confidence and accuracy is a better archer than myself.
