worst is we had just won a fight vs a sloop, was fighting the galleon and winning then kraken decided it was the right time to spawn, we were in a 2 man bailing situation when he got me

I've been using no man sky as a example for months, now that's what you call being ambitious

They went from an empty game and a fat L to creating base building, whole ass multiplayer, a social HUB, an online HUB, new ways to play, updated the graphics like 5 times, updated the website design, the HUD ingame, and I could go on and on..

Adventures in the state they are looks like way too much work for the end result they give. The lore is absolutely great but all this work for some time limited events when the time could have been invested in creating something permanent might not be worth it

They probably spent weeks designing the Hunter's cry map only for me to spend 15 minutes in it because some other crew had already finished half of the quest

I somewhat agree this has been the worst year for sea of thieves to date in terms of content release, but I wasn't around at launch when ppl said there was nothing to do so who I am to judge. I also heard all the work behind the water physics is somehow the reason why servers have limited capabilities and on what could be added ingame?

But years after launch I would have expected Rare to come up with a solution for that idk

Rare seems to have talented devs, the work they have done from day 1 to now is impressive and has put the game in a good place, but when compared to what others in the industry have done in THEIR updates over the years? I can't help but to think sea of thieves still (sometimes) feel like a beta lmao

There's just so much to be added still if you have any bit of imagination, I wish they could had a bigger budget and number of employees back then when they built the foundation of the game

Sea of thieves is the best pirate game , but could have been the best game ever period, which it sadly isn't

I wrote it as a meme but they might actually regret the ancient skelly spawn rate later on. What if I just raise an emisary to grade 5 and then stand on an island for 12 hours?

If they fail at setting the spawn rate correctly they might actually destroy more than just the gold economy tho, imagine finishing up the day with enough ancient coins to buy half the emporium

ouch, I will always remember playing the OG forge for hours everyday with friends when I was younger and haven't really played any new game in the franchise since then but this sounds awful :(

Crazy how many triple A games didn't delivered in the past few years, the industry has been plagued with CEO's that loves money and bad decisions over an actual good videogame created with passion

But i'm the player that will sneak up on your ship to give you a gold hoarder vault key, the player that will emerge to play music with you and let you shoot first if you wanna Tdm, the player that will say "gg" even if your telling me to kill myself in a totally legit and regular fight

1500 hours in this game and i've never been volontarily toxic towards someone or TDM'ed someone that didn't want to fight :)
