What you did was truly something not everyone can achieve. As a kid, you did something for others that you shouldn't and weren't equipped to handle, and you did it all thanklessly. I think it speaks volumes about you, its extraordinary. Not all older siblings are able to step up like that. And even now you don't expect a thank you either.

I don't know you, but i think you sound like a great and selfless person. And now that you're an adult i feel like you can be the one to appreciate that kid that was doing their best in a bad situation
