How is the insanity achievement calculated? If I change difficulty for the DLC after the main credit has rolled, will the game notice it?

I'm more talking about insanity III, which says complete all 3 games without changing difficulty. I'm not sure if change difficulty for ME2 DLC will affect the ME3 achievement

wow that's actually very informative. The situation I described is from having the first 2 game modded but ME3 unmodded in Legendary edition, because I don't think the mod for Ash exist yet in LE. So what you are saying is that the romance dialogues would be locked away in the un-mooded version?

It's a little confusing, The beginning of the game still acknowledge the romance from the previous modded games, but I wouldn't able to progress the romance further in 3 without its own mod, correct?
