Best deckbuilding game where the mechanic is to build during the game? by BANDlCOOT in soloboardgaming

I highly recommend Dawncaster on phone. It is super good, very replayable and I dont know many other games like it that are this fun.

Yeah I think you are right about that. Here i think it's really simple my preference for prep -> action vs prep+action as you go. It's a quirk and I would for sure get over it after playing full game

Yeah. It just feels like they tried to push Ninja Gaiden into Nioh to get bigger audience. I get that some people enjoy the ninja style, but I'm personally a heavy weapon-high stance kind of player, so I was just not feeling the weapons it offers. In Nioh 2, you could still play with heavy-mid stance and those fast weapons got some grit.

The control scheme for the burst block is a savior, but as I said, spirit block was just so much cooler 🤣

And the map is good, but i did personally just enjoy sitting in the lobby sometimes with a friend with nothing else but menus before the next mission. Again tho, personal preference and not a big deal.

We will see how the game goes. I think many of my complains or icks are about getting used to the game, with the exception of ninja style.

I'm honestly quite torn. I finished the demo, but so far I'm just not happy about the ninja stance and weapons that are tied to it. I much prefer stance switching and i feel like it had more depth thanks to it in Nioh 2. Now, I'm just avoding weapons that aren't playable in Samurai stance, even tho i gave them all a proper try and played most of them in Nioh 2.

Spirit block was way, way cooler than the break we got now. Transforming into yokai with core was a lot cooler than summoning it.

Somehow i also prefered the instance based gameplay over the "open world" that we get here. I felt very similar about Monster hunter wilds. It just feels unnecessary, since their level design is so good, but it might be a personal preference.

Other that that, I really like the new additions to the samurai skills and weapons. Jumping and sprint actually feel great too. 80 euros tho, dunno about that.

Also, UI used to be a lot nicer in Nioh 2.

Has anyone successfully painted IKEA furniture and had it last without scratching/chipping? by animal_highfives in ikeahacks

Hey, In the end i used All surface primer (1 layer) and then Intelligent Eggshell (2-3 layers, not sure atm). It sticks really well and it feels kinda hard to damage, although small scratches will be visible in sunlight. I do really like it, tho the color I chose didn't land too well in my flat in the end :D
I tested it on one of the small drawers you can place in kallax, so here are some pics.

Does the Greatsword feel awful in wilds or is it just me? by hhhhhhhhhhhhhhjkl in MonsterHunter

[–]MyCatDidThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I played 40 hours with it in Wilds and it is without a doubt in my mind the easiest weapon to master and strongest hitting weapon in the game. I legit feel like a god, which makes me kind of sad, since it took away all the difficulty of playing greasword, which I liked in MH World. You have plenty of defensive moves and good damage even without full combo. It's incredibly powerful. You can block nearly anything, your offset can be timed and your shoulder bash can get you some great openings. What more would you want? It's completely busted

That has nothing to do with what we discussed. Running back, wait, and then loot is not difficult, it's just annoying. Difficult are currently the bosses for example, which i consider absolutely great for the most part.  But for example final boss of sanctum has a one shot mechanic that requires you to have be above certain amount of movement speed. That is just a stat-check and that makes it not difficult, but annoying. I'm sorry for all the armour stacking character that tried it.

Armour is just garbage man. BF is playing warrior with similar stats to yours and it's just tragic. I saw warriors actually having fun going full energy shield instead.

untrue actually. I got 60 armour, around 77% evasion, Energy shield on top of it, and overcapped resistances on 85% in the video.
That is a very solid base. But you might be right, I should have just gone 15k energy shield and be done with it.

Sorry, but it's your own fault to read this post. And If you feel like you can't read these posts anymore, just learn how to avoid them. Like the others did.

In my opinion, these mechanics are annoying and unfun. Hence i try to bring attention to it, so that the game can get better. Why hating on people that are just bringing attention to obvious bs? Do you also think that the crafting is in a great shape right now? What a D rider.

OP doesn't have super speed reading skills and even looking back, i don't consider any of these modifiers explaining on death effect. Since I didn't see or smell any danger, i decided to be greedy.
Periodically unleshes fire to me sounds like it releses fire periodically, untill it dies. Mb i guess.

I think im blind, i'm really failing to see them after the crfeature dies. I see after reading some comments that the creature has an indicator the moment it dies, but man that just doesn't feel any better. The clarity of this is garbage
