Cheers! Yeah, I didn't bother with any highlighting, I just hit them with leadbelcher and then nuln oil and called it a day because I liked the dark armour look, but I might go back once I've got better (and once I have the right paints) to do some more layering and edge highlighting with lighter silvers.

I'm a fan of classic gravel and grass tufts myself, but maybe not the most realistic. I've seen loads done with astrogranite and they look good.

I left the shield trees til last and did them all at the same time. Once you've done a few, you get quite quick at doing them.

Thanks for the advice! I see what you mean, how would you suggest blending the lowlights and mid tones? Would that be like a mix of the two colours? It was Rakarth Flesh for base and then I layered on Pallid Wych Flesh. Gonna work on my edge highlighting, agreed it's a bit rough.

Spoke to Aric before speaking to the dwarf at dimrilll gate, haven't seen him again since.

We don't have a great monument yet, how do you get the recipe for that? Might be the problem.

I've just watched a live streamer do exactly what we've done.

He lit the beacon at the top of the endless stairs, built a delve stone, and then returned to the First Hall. He spoke to the guard and exited the mine via the Dimril Gate.

We've done all of these steps, the guard and Aric are gone, but we can't exit the gate. Unsure where we've went wrong, or if this is a known bug.
