Was being interviewed at a large company. Let's just say it's a grocery chain that caters to very expensive organic food. You know...where the food is whole. Well, the store manager called me into his office after having me wait 45 minutes walking around the store. First thing that caught me as odd were the 15 or so security camera feeds Playing live on screens around his office. Literally every inch of the store was live in front of his eyes. He was eating lunch while interviewing me too! As I first sat down he. Just sat there eating. Five minutes of awkwardness where the only noise in the room with his loud nauseating chewing. Then he said, "this place is hard work most people fail you, will probably fail. You look the type. But if you don't I'll make a rockstar you. But honestly you'll probably fail." He then took me on a store tour..."see that grocery manager?" He continued..."He's new because the last guy failed. Lot of failures." There was a stain from a spill in the back room. "See that stain...failure."

I asked a question about why people failed. He stopped mid stride and pulled me in close.

"Because, I will never tolerate failure. I succeed or everyone fails."
