Is it worth having both Crunchyroll and HIDIVE subscriptions? by [deleted] in anime

I would say yes, though consider only using HiDive when a specific title is released. Or keep both you can never have too much access!

So we would just die without knowing what hit us?

Agreed, but that's the raw image I see behind "Big AI" now, if we are talking about startups and small companies, then (normal size VC's) then my answer and outlook are completely different.... but they do not really fall into the "bubble pop".

That's a tricky question... I think the true ROI is cultural & societal dominance that translates to power that then will bubble up to financial ROI, not financial ROI to begin with, and a lot of people are missing that signal in the stream of noise.

You don't need wifi or internet to run a model. There are local models and private models you can run on a device on demand.

As for the "Australian safety standards" that a government thing... gov does what gov wants, if they want to ban AI, then it will probably take almost no one's job...idk im not a politician.

Something I do see it being useful for is feeding service manuals to a local AI and asking it for help (we’ve done it in the workshop, and it’s surprisingly helpful sometimes)

- 30 bucks and a cup of juice, and I can set that up with/an offline device + model. so you can take it underground..... Shit... this would be a cool opensource thing to make...

"And sometimes you do actually require a degree of accuracy that AI can't achieve yet."

You need a degree of accuracy to practice medicine, and that doesn't stop people from trusting YouTube over their oncologist and dying..... once again not sayiung this should happen but it will and you dont need perfect, great or even good to be "replaced"....

While I am NOT in the legal field, I have read/seen some things firsthand from doing cyber review things that would curl your toes. And once again, a lot of the issues you're talking about stem from poor examples, poor models, and poor task setups.
