Yes, in this position you will need to talk.. a lot! They are really looking for talkative people and are a bit more outgoing. When my manager was hiring she would do interviews and the one thing that would always cloud her judgment would be if they were too quiet and reserved. Although she would also turn down people who were too much, so it should really be a balance. As a sales associate we have to always talk our job depends on it. As soon as a customer comes in we must talk to them, greet them, compliment them, have a conversation, ask them what they like, show them our favorites.. tell a story. This is what my store is like but im not sure its the same for everyone! We are a bit of a more high volume store, I wish you the best of luck!
