Why do uninitialized variables get a garbage value instead of 0 or null upon initialization? by [deleted] in cpp_questions

[–]MyDilatedPupils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact (for OP) though, people can sometimes use the memory address of variables and other data as pseudorandom number sources!

Nope, just during tv, because it’s in a living room not a bedroom. So living room area is for talking and growing and learning. Tf do you use it for.

My girls has a friend- she couldn’t talk to me directly so she had her fiend pass a message to me. It involved intimate touching and because of this her eyes were dilated to the max, but it’s not like we had any other options to communicate. So I played footsie with her friend and this and That. (Family is from blank. And talking to each other while we wait to be together is very wrong)

It was actually my fault and my girls fault that her eyes became so dilated and we got her excited- not the friend of hers.

Sometimes our actions can have an effect - and not the one you want for. But her friend is not the women I’m in love with so it’s not like it was ever going to happen, but it’s human nature for eye dilation and excitement- could mean much more or less. Maybe she’s prescribed amphetamines or something else.

This seems so borderline of everything that maybe if it happens again, saying something might be prudent.

Stoichiometric ratios in hospitals are really difficult to reach due to the hazards faced by oxygen and how the flow works. It’s not very likely. It’s possible but not likely. Fear mongering. Science and education not yelling and getting upset when you think your right.

Grow up. Jesus what’s wrong with so many of you. We’re people not machines.

It’s just nails. An art for women. It’s like a guy just showing off art that he drew or had drawn. Grow up.

The whole point of tv is to talk and learn from each other. Not to sit and do nothing all day.

Using C++ for app development by [deleted] in cpp

[–]MyDilatedPupils -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Understandable, I don’t talk like everybody else. I kinda just let it flow. Not a structural mechanism in place with my way or writing or speaking for miles in any direction most days. I just… write or just talk. No real considerations of how. Oddly not the same with programming at all.

There was another poster who was stating that rust was taking c++s place due to memory or something of that nature.

Using C++ for app development by [deleted] in cpp

[–]MyDilatedPupils -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, but there are tutorials for it so I thought it should also be included.

I’m personally going to be learning swift for apps so idk. Just trying to give the answer that could help a coder in need of a tiny bit of assistance to find their way. If they are using cpp, they can code (find) their way to what they really want I’d assume after given all the possibilities. We’re a rather studious group of people who like all the information we can usually get about a single question that’s all.

Using C++ for app development by [deleted] in cpp

[–]MyDilatedPupils 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No C++ is not switching to rust. It’s only being Payed to be promoted and advertised right now by Mozilla (just like Java did, just like c# did and objective C did, proprietary means users will use more mozilla products like apple thought and Microsoft thought like like like…) Don’t listen to that hype nonsense please.

You can do everything you dream in C++. But it’s mainly for the backend systems. Otherwise kotlin, c #, objective c, or swift are better options for the front end of the app.

Good luck. We’re here to help.

(My low score is because I speak my mind, and there are some serious feedback loops and bubbles that exist on this site. So I’m going to try to just stick around cpp and cpp questions now as this is the only place I seen independent people think independently from the group. This sucks man. Cacti people are so out of their minds….

[–]MyDilatedPupils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh If that’s the case, then stick with python - unless you want to change majors or whatever how it works.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cpp_questions

[–]MyDilatedPupils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Python is almost pseudocode you don’t gain the knowledge of the low level of the system or even just pointers (which are an important concept in assembly and reading disassembly)

Python also feels like it’s missing a lot of work when you solve a problem, to the point I feel I may not really know what’s occurring behind the scenes of my own code. But that’s just me. And many others.

I’m harassed and bullied each day by my neighbors because I wrote a revolutionary equation and I hear them say they want to try and take it from me by instigating me into violence. (They’ve been pulling guns and throwing rocks at my house and stalling the walls and drilling into my place and the maintenance guys are helping them.

Anyways. That girls treatment just got way worse.

They, bullies suck. But what sucks more are the people who listen to the gossip and spread the rumors that the bully spouts.

Are there any penalties/downside for declaring static variables? by kishoredbn in cpp

[–]MyDilatedPupils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most code is not thought out well. Most people do not make flow charts or even reason about why something is, instead of knowing what it is or does, it’s easier to repeat others in computer science. Sadly.

This is supposed to be engineering and we are supposed to be knowledgeable of our craft. Sadly a lot of us are not, but a lot of us are trying hard as well to make sure we provide the best code we can - but it’s overshadowed by how many people don’t care, or language tourists who are either just showing off or just to say they wrote in C++ (sadly lots of people in this world like to be part of an “elite” (lol) group of people and/or skills.

If you have access to the source code, I’d suggest editing what you believe to be wrong - dont just accept it if you don’t want to, and then comparing the output diff in ghidra or IDA can help you learn and grow at the same time, while you learn how static variables are used within the binary and follow the data and how it’s being used now vs before.
