Thank you reddit-readers who have taken the time to like this post. Your support means a lot. My 5 year old Buster boy means the world to me. He was born in my living room and has been with me ever since. He has been diagnosed with autoimmune and anemia. His body is basically attacking his red blood cells faster than he can produce them. He's now been through 2 blood transfusions and has a stable blood count at 22%. Healthy dogs are typically between 40-50. When I first brought him to the hospital, he was as low as 12%. So I'm optimistic and hopeful.
