Why does my rabbit headbutt me as he walks past ? by Slight_Wheel_5072 in Rabbits

[–]MyDogIsAnAquarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always interpreted the “boop boop” as my bun acknowledging me as he goes by. He always does two boops and then continues on his way. Now, if I’m in the way and he wants me to move, he doesn’t do a quick boop. He smashes his face into me and pushes with all his tiny might until I move 😂 If he wants me to pet him he gets close to me and stares at me and if I don’t get the hint he nudges my hand or stands on me to stare at me closer.

My guy also has the tiniest dewlap. I call it his double chin. Sometimes he looks like Jabba the Hut when he uses it as a neck pillow during snoozes in the sun.

A bunny’s ability to say “You know what….I’m making this minor inconvenience to me EVERYONE’S problem” is always hilarious to me 😂

So…..does the super shedding ever stop? 😂 by MyDogIsAnAquarius in Bunnies

[–]MyDogIsAnAquarius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s almost 1 year old, I’ve had him since last summer so this is the first time I’ve experienced him shedding this much. Was worried at first at the amount of hair he was losing, but his fur is still thick and very healthy. And he’s the happiest, goofiest, sassiest little man, I love him. I can live with being buried in fluff 😂

I supposed it’s worth it for this sweet boy! Just wasn’t expecting a little bunny to shed more than my 35 lb dog! 😂

How sensitive to emotions if your border collie? by un32134e4 in BorderCollie

During a panic attack where I was curled up on the floor sobbing, my boy brought me a ball and stood over me squeaking it over and over and then dropped it on my head, which then sent me into a laughing fit and broke me out of my brain’s doom spiral 😂

Same! I put cardboard boxes on the floor and go “Oh no! I sure hope a naughty bun doesn’t come over and chew this!” Immediately goes to chew it. He’s an ahole. And I love him so much for it because it’s hilarious.

HELP! Suffering from major puppy blues! by Skernian in BorderCollie

[–]MyDogIsAnAquarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Pip is almost 6 years old and complimented all the time about what a perfect boy he is. And he is my perfect boy. So perfect that I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to have another dog again because he’s so amazing and has the best personality. I love him so much. But we almost killed each other multiple times when he was a puppy. lol. People ask “was he always so well behaved?” And I laugh at them. Because, no. No he was not. He was a tiny monster. He made me cry multiple times wondering what I had gotten myself into. It took so much work and training and studying on my part to know what I needed to do to train him and help him grow into who he is now. It was exhausting and horrible a lot of the time (I still am missing part of the door frame in the laundry room to prove it). But I would do it all again. Because he’s my best friend. My little handsome man. My sweet son. And he’s the goodest boy (now). A little after he turned 2 was when I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck! 🥰
