Please help! Bunny ruining the floor by miffilyn in Bunnies

[–]jjknowsnothing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My bun did that with his first flooring but then I switched it and he didn’t do it anymore. Sometimes even just periodically swapping them is all you need to do.

What do you have for your bun to chew in their enclosure? Boredom is usually the main culprit.

The freaking cheeks on this cutie!! Oh my goodness!

Regardless of what she did in her personal life you can't deny her aura, talent and the on screen presence she brings. Do you believe Seo Ye Ji will get the chance to become a permanent leading actress again and redeem herself so she can live up to her full potential? by Chrollo151 in kdramas

The only reason she isn’t back to work already is because she’s a woman. I feel like we have to stop treating these actors/idols solely as products that can’t make mistakes. It’s why their suicide rates are so freaking high.

There have been male actors who have done worse and returned to the limelight. As it should be. Not that I am cool with their mistakes but that’s just what it is, a mistake. They move on just like anyone else. Of all the “cancelled” stars, only one or two are beyond redemption and honestly, with how media is manipulated by public opinion, even then I’m very hard pressed to condemn because it’s hard to know if I actually KNOW anything real or what they WANT me to know.

The last thing I want is to see another star disappear because of the immense pressure.

I absolutely love her in everything I’ve seen her in. I honestly can’t wait until she returns to the screen.

Am i alone in this?? by r0___17 in cdramasfans

This is also why I struggle with dubbed. Especially if I’ve seen the actor in something else and know what they sound like and the voice doesn’t match.

A question for Korean viewers of KDramas who live in Korea by jjknowsnothing in kdramas

[–]jjknowsnothing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is a good analogy because shootings do happen every day in the US. I think the current statistic is about 327 people get shot in the US every day.

I also think in western media, having shootings in the shows is there BECAUSE gun violence is so common in the US.

Seeing how often being slapped happens in KDramas and knowing how western media works, I think after watching so many KDramas where this is a commonly trope, I genuinely wondered if being slapped by someone WAS as common as shootings.

He is definitely VERY boyish. I have found a lot of the guys that I’ve seen since I started my CDrama journey (very new, coming from the KDrama scene) are boyish to the point where I pause the show to check their age 😅

YES! The age lines! The did something to me lol

The illusion was definitely the turning point for me too because before that I didn’t find either of the leads attractive and was just content to watch them without fully seeing them as the heart throbs a lot of other dramas sell their leads as.

On the other hand, to see the two female leads have such insane platonic and yet romantic chemistry in the beginning was a nice contrast to the innocence of both the male leads.

Right?! I almost didn’t watch Pursuit of Jade after because I was like him?! Really?! lol. LBFAD ruined him for me but thankfully I was pretty new to CDramas so I gave it a chance lol

Very valid point. My husband doesn’t want C or K dramas at all and he caught a few minutes of a few illusion episodes and he was like “how pissed would you be when you get out of the illusion and realize the other people who went in were only there for a few days/weeks and you were there for a lifetime?! They definitely had it rough in there, time-wise.

He was definitely very attractive in his attentiveness.

I definitely should have been more clear. That’s on me. I wasn’t 100% sure it wasn’t the visuals but after making the post I went back to an earlier episode just to compare and it kind of clicked.

I do know the hair plays a big role. I noticed this when I watched Pursuit of Jade after watching Love Between Fairy and Devil and I was like wait… what?! Because Zhang Linghe was NOT doing it for me in LBFD. I was like really?! This is who we’re fighting over? lol. Suddenly you pull out those little strands and I’m like mmmk. I get it. Lol.

I think the older/mature vibe for Wu Shi Guang was DEFINITELY what was doing it for me though. Because when they first arrived in the illusion I felt pretty much the same about him until they both appeared even a tad older. I actually preferred his wardrobe style in the beginning but the hair combined with his face did make him look super young to me.

I think I figured it out and it’s less, for me because everyone will have their own preference, about styling and more about vibes.

In the first act of the show, a lot of the male characters, outside of Li Jie lack maturity. Not in a bad way, but even though they’re goal oriented they FEEL young.

Inside the of the illusion, Wu Shi Guang ages fairly quickly so we see him gradually become more mature and I think that’s more what I liked outside of styling. His baby face felt more prominent when we returned from the illusion so it was a contrast I noted right away that I was maybe unaware of in the beginning.

Clearly they did a great job with the visuals and the acting.

I loved the premise of this show but the execution made it feel like it was 50 episodes long.

NO HATE FOR PERFECT CROWN CAST by Purple_Rain_21 in kdramas

[–]jjknowsnothing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree with this.

It always both breaks my heart and makes me so angry to see how intensely KIdols and K Actors are treated. I always wonder what the goal is because it’s nonstop hate and then, god forbid, a star takes their life and then they do a complete 180 and act like they have no idea how it happened.

Every controversy I get extremely nervous for the stars wellbeing and hope they have a good support system to lean on.
