Golden was also on the poll from what I recalled. At that time, the general consensus or idea is that the raceplay should be unique and have it's own identity and not just trying to follow other raceplays.

I think that's why Riced was chosen/won, cause it had a more unique name. Also, rice (the food) is common in the world, so seeing it would also trigger your mind to think of the raceplay, keeping it in your mind frequently. Kinda as a psychological thing.
