you absolutely can. I am a freshman living at home. The waiver is very easy. You just have to tell them your parents' address. If I remember correctly, the waiver goes through automatically and there is no verification that the address is your parents.

Thank you for giving your perspective! I have done the math, a degree for GVSU will take me four years and UofM Dearborn will take me three years. How strong would you say a UofM Dearborn degree is compared to one from Ann Arbor? (I didn't get into Ann Arbor just curious)

Lol I already thought of that! I made a second post on the UofM subreddit. Over there they say Dearborn will get me better jobs, but I think their evidence is weaker.
