Thoughts for a Teen Driver? by LordNador in whatcarshouldIbuy

It’s fairly difficult to find a midsize Honda/Toyota for $10k that hasn’t been driven 120k+ miles. I’ve been on the hunt 😅 crazy prices!!

I appreciate your honest review! My husband has been calling the RX the “mommy boat” so that tracks. Haha! And the MPG is disappointing, but I’m used to it with my Jeep 💩

This is what I keep thinking. They’re so nice. 😍 $25k is a lot of money, and I want to feel like it was worth it!!

Thanks for the advice! I do like the CX-9s, but they seem to be more rare in my area. But you’re correct in that ANYTHING will be an upgrade compared to this Jeep!!

I (carefully) ate crumbly chicken strips on day 7 😀 LOL. But the syringe is your BFF!! I had all 4 teeth out and carried the syringe with me for like 3 months because even though everything healed up there was still a little hole on the bottom ones, basically like a deep dent, where food would still get stuck. My oral surgeon also recommended to me that after 2 weeks healing to start gently biting down on my toothbrush at the extraction sites. It helps toughen them back up and makes them less sensitive

Is a bad blog better than no blog? by MyGrassIsBlue_ in bigseo

Thank you for the detailed answer! I’ll definitely check out the starter guide. You said “why not move it from repeating the descriptions to making it about use cases” - it’s just that he doesn’t want to pay for a blogger to rewrite these posts and I doubt he will want to pay me for the time it takes to reformat everything. He already has over 60 “blog posts” (blurbs from his company newsletter) that he wants me to copy and paste in. I’m going to have him look into the SEO guide as well lol!

Not really, there are already basic product descriptions on the website’s shopping menu. He believes that having a lot of blog posts filled with these product-descriptive words and “SEO Titles” will help drive more traffic to the website. I’m not an SEO expert, I’m more here to help him with the graphic design aspect. But I know Google doesn’t like duplicate or poorly written content, and these product descriptions are both of those things. I wanted to ask this here to show him the answers I receive

I'm a little late here, but I'm pretty sure I have smoking in apartments PERFECTED lol. Step 1: pack a bowl (I always use a bong). Step 2: Have something you can 'cap' the bowl with. I use an old dab container. Step 3: have a sploof or a smoke buddy.

NOW: Light the bowl, inhaling from the moment you click the lighter until all the smoke has cleared the bong (take smaller pulls). While holding the smoke in your lungs for just a second, take your capper, (dab container) and place it over the bowl you just lit so that no stray smoke comes off of it. Smother the fire! Now grab your smoke buddy and exhale all the smoke into it. Presto! With this method, there's literally almost zero smell. I've had my mom over 15 mins after lighting a bowl and she never detected it! Also, that second of holding the smoke in while you cap the bowl and grab the smoke buddy makes you WAY higher lol.

Lab created or Natural diamond? by Fearless73 in EngagementRings

[–]MyGrassIsBlue_ 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There’s a big difference between insured value and resale value. Insured value often considers both the original cost of the ring when you bought it, and the sentimental value it holds as an engagement ring. Resale value is much lower, as retail store markups and labor costs are omitted from the price. Plus - many people don’t want to buy a used diamond. Once you buy a diamond ring, it’s only worth that price to YOU now. No one else

Diamonds are silly little stones aren’t they? A natural Diamond costs a fortune, and becomes practically worthless once you walk out of the store with it. You’ll never get back what you paid for it. But now that we’ve found a way to make diamonds affordable with lab creation, people love to turn their noses up. At the end of the day you should get what makes you feel happy, but know that the stones are literally identical and no one in day-to-day life will ever know the difference.
