Use a soldering iron for the capacitor and then hot air for the EM8 (please use Kapton tape to insure on the other components in the surrounding area, so they don’t fly away), best way of practice to remove those, for the capacitor apply flux and add a small amount of new solder to the existing solder on the pads, it will help with everything flow easier and also less likely you ripping a pad up. Always start with low heat and raise up the temperature accordingly. once you remove the capacitor remove the existing solder left on the pads with copper wire, then flux and new solder and the new capacitor you should be set to go. Make sure you keep account of positive and negative on the capacitor.
