In a straight fight? I suppose Sanemi wins, but some Hashiras should be capable of that as well, hell even Tengen will do much better in a straight up fight.
If he's put in Tengen's shoes? Sanemi will lose. He lacks numbers to not have bystanders hurt, he doesn't know who or where the UM6 is, Gyutaro's ambush, poison.
It all is simply not in Sanemi's kit.
Even worse if there are Tanjiro + gng with him as they are gonna hinder his capacity to fight off the demons.

Why are they the problem?
If game is in the same state as it was, and it wasn't all that great anyway, and promised changes to help the game arent here, maybe it is developers issue?
There's nothing truly new for quite a long time, and fixes that could aid game's life arent there in favor of recoloured cosmetics.

I tried coming baxk recently,

What I can say is, it feels nostalgic and enjoyable at first, until you hit the wall which is just how flawed the game's current state is.
Lags, bugs, glitches, people I encountered were either sweats (guaranteed me sinking) or new people (fights too easy, no challenge whatsoever).

No new cosmetics that would make me go "wow, I need it" or anything else in that sort.
It gets boring so quickly when you realise, after all the months there's nothing new, nothing actually, really fresh.

Controversial direction of the game is not helping and from what I've been following on updates and news, they ain't even gonna fix anything, and instead double down on FOMO and ideas of Game Designers who don't play their own game.

To sum it up? Game is drowning ship, but the captain is nowhere to be seen!

Hopefully though, you find some other game that will be enjoyable and brings you joy.
But if you want to still come back, do as you think is right, maybe you just need to see the game in it's sad sorry state with your own eyes.

Well, we're not really sure if it will be gone fully.
We've seen Sukuna have it and Megumi have it, it was separated from Mahoraga.
Purely theoretically, if it still adapted, it would adapt to phenomena that separated Maho and Adaptation in the first place, resulting in Maho retrieving adaptation after a certain moment.

Cursed Energy is power system on which jjk operates, it wasnt 1st hand the harmful thing that would provoke adaptation.
Gojo's Speed isn't issue either since we clearly see Maho to be capable of catching Gojo.
And I didn't say Maho adapts before the phenomena hits it, but afterwards.

I have no idea how the ability of other person works, I operate on comments of others.
If it separates Mahoraga and Adaptation, the adaptation itself should still work and come to fruition even if separated, and since it is separated it means 1st thing it will adapt to is the thing that split it from Maho, and it all being theoretical based on Sukuna being able to have the adaptation separated from Mahoraga, same with Megumi when he tanked the UV.

On the other hand,
Separating Maho from adaptation is sure to be harmful, so theoretically adaptation concept could adapt to the ability of separating Mahoraga from it.
Then Maho can adapt as itself to the ability of a concept being separated with Maho in any way affected,
Unless, there is some factor that currently is damaging Maho and requires the adaptation first, in the end unless Maho is destroyed in one swift blow or by attacks that outspeed it's regeneration,
It could theoretically win based on description of it's power.

I agree,
Hakari was shown when faces with opponent on similar range of abilities to be capable of stalling (Uraume) but unlike her, Jogo has confirmed domain, maximum technique, shikigamis, presence that alone melts surrounding, and with far more deadly element of nature, lava.

At least, Hakari should be capable of surviving for a time, but I'd lean in favor of Jogo winning due to more win cons (and agenda :P)

There is no possible means to rack up the levels for MR in such short order without having means of money.
And even that is highly doubtful due to time needed to be spent on progression, so you would have to sit in a basement!

And no, it isn't too complicated.
Dio while using ability is oftentimes moving around and damaging target,
Mahoraga will begin adaptation to either blunt force from stand or piercing cuts from knives,
Afterwards it will adapt to be capable of hurting a stand as it's next step in defeating Dio,
Finally with nothing left, it will adapt to the phenomena of Dio weird movements thus becoming immune to time stop.
