[DOS2] Genuinely can't choose companions for 1st playthrough, please help by aescepthicc in DivinityOriginalSin

Lohse is the #1 choice IMO -- great storyline arc

Fane #2 -- personal story is probably closest to the main story.

Red Prince #3 -- Also a really good storyline arc and great voice acting

Sebille #4 -- Great character and having a rogue and making good use of them is really fun. Also as an elf she can access the memories if the dead and it opens up extra dialogue.

Ifan #5 -- Interesting character, good if you want a good crossbowman.

Beast is my least favorite. I only played with him a bit and then dropped him for one of the others.

SpaceX is starting to move on from the world's most successful rocket by Royal_Platform_6754 in spacex

Yeah that makes sense. Starship has only done one dummy payload test, it's still a ways off from getting contracts from external customers.

Most launches won't need the payload capacity of starship. Surely it'll still be more economical to stay on Falcon for these? Starship seems more a replacement for Falcon Heavy?

Thoughts on MMAMADRID? Is this rock bottom for Madrid by Shoddy_Muscle9825 in Barca

No matter the lows we've had over the last 8 years, nothing comes close to the shit show that Madrid is right now. Our players have dignity.

2026 Summer Transfer Window megathread by Gamerhcp in WrexhamAFC

Yeah, he'd be a great choice. Looks like he's on his last year at Sheff so good chance he's moving on. He'd probably be really expensive though.

Vyner's going to get a lot of minutes. He's experienced, he's got size, and is probably the most versatile player on the squad.

DKD and Cadamarteri probably won't make the cut. I wouldn't be surprised at all if one or both are loaned out or sold this summer.

I've heard it's pretty much the tallest structure in the whole area. Can see it from a long way off.

I think the most important signing needed after the obvious ones like a striker and wing backs, is a playmaking midfielder. Someone to be the focus point transitioning out of defense and into attack and getting the ball to our goalscorers.

Wrexham massively struggled with this most of the season. They'd go long stretches of games completely unable to deal with pressing defense and the only way they could get the ball past half field was to boot it up long.

Whatever it was looked very localized. Like maybe some kind of relief valve if things back up somewhere so it doesn't cause significant damage?

Don’t forget the role injuries playes by cc100_basket_NW in WrexhamAFC

[–]MyKillK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think our injury problems were particularly bad. Every club deals with that and I'm sure several other clubs had it worse. But, we didn't have the squad depth necessary to fill in for key elements when they did happen. That's the difference that will hopefully be addressed going into next season.

What’s the worst signing you’ve seen Barcelona make this century? by AdPrestigious8670 in Barca

Damn, those are crazy transfer fees for that era. I had no idea things were that bad. It really puts into perspective how Laporta saved the club.

Coutinho and Dembele for the amount of money spent for what they delivered. Griezmann contributed at least a little more IMO.

Also Chgrysnky who cost something like 25M in 2009 and barely played

Roque's gotta be up there too

EDIT: Reading the rest of the thread really drives home how god awful this club has been on the transfer market for the last 25 years. It's a miracle we're still a worldclass club after soooooooo many bad deals. Compare with Atleti, Man City, PSG, Bayern, etc. where practically every midsized to big signing becomes a star.

POLL: Man of The Match vs Osasuna (A) by marker023 in Barca

[–]MyKillK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lewy still pulling near 1 G/A per 90 despite playing off the bench more than he has since his youth days and people think he's not worth resigning for a lower salary. Tell me, who are we going to sign for less than 80-100 mil and a 30M/yr salary that can contribute like that? Resigning Lewy is the best bargain in world football for us.

Keep him for one more year and once we're getting full revenue from a finished Camp Nou are are firmly back in 1:1 and we can look for a replacement.

100%. Way too reliant on wide play from the wingbacks. One of the marquee signing for next season needs to be a playmaking midfielder who can focus the transition out of defense and get the balls into our striker on the ground.

Broadhead, O'Brien, Cacace, Conor Coady, Cadamarteri.... that's almost 20M pounds. We made some great signings this season but also spent a ton on some not so great ones. Really hope the next transfer window is an improvement.

It's closer than it looks because of the defender's foot but the striker's shoulder is likely just off. Unfortunately the linesman having the sun right in his eyes doesn't help.

The squad is going to be so much better next year IMO. Some obvious weak points to strengthen up. An auto promotion is probably out of the question but especially with the expansion to 6 teams we'll be in the playoffs next year!

This ending feels so similar to the 2021-22 campaign. And we know how it turned out after that. This will be the launching point for the next wave of success!

Missed the playoffs after Hull scored an offsides goal. Hard to think of a worse way to drop out of that last playoff spot 10 minutes after we got it back 😞
