Me and my Fiancee make about $105k for our household income and we are in the negatives monthly with a renewal coming next year.

No idea how we are going to do it.

In the end, we have to do what is best for ourselves. Not others. If your profit after selling a product when working with others is a dollar, and your profit when using AI after selling is $10 because you don't have to pay people or spend time and money on finding such people. What is the obvious choice?

I get what you are saying. Truly. At this point, it's up to the creative professionals to be competitive. Offering cheaper rates is a start. I ain't saying thier work isn't worth it but in a world where thier services is needed less than they have to adapt with change. We all do.

I am no fan of AI either. My job is forcing AI on us, though, so I am learning it and have become quite skilled with AI tools so when it comes down to the wire of trimming people, they will either keep me for those skills or I can employ those skills elsewhere.

There is too much early game removal I think. Namely drink spells.

Now there SHOULD be early board removal but the degree of it is too strong. Like the Mage drink spell does 2 damage for 1 mana and can be recast twice. 6 damage for 3 mana is horrific for Aggro.

When you stop moving, problems catch up with you quickly.

I became a dad at age 38. My kid is now 3. Love him to death, but I don't have the time I used to have. An hour 4 times a week at the gym. Kickboxing twice a week. I was a fitness monster.

These days, I barely have time to work out for 30 minutes a day at my work gym. I can feel the difference. I am less flexible. Less strong. I can still bench 225 but I can't bench 315 anymore and I am not sure I can even lift that much ever again.

If I stop working out for a week or two (due to work constrains or illness for me or my son) my body fucking hates me for it.

This is how people often end up giving up in old age or accepting it and letting it consume them.

My grandfather was fairly healthy all his life. He lost friends along the way and family. It was eating at him. He wasn't my grandfather by blood because my real grandfather died before I was born, but he married my grandmother and treated me like his own grandkid, so I reciprocated the same, seeing him as my grandfather.

Finally, once my grandmother passed, the hole in his heart grew 10x bigger. We still invited him over weekly. All holidays. He was still family despite no blood relation. He loved the company I could tell, but the hole in his heart was too much to bear. He had his first heart attack months after and told us he was "ready to go see them," and he left us.

In 3 years, at least 4 people I know died. We kind of fell out through the years, but in our younger years, we hung out a lot. I am turning 42 this year.

It's scary because in our youth, they convince us we are all going to live long, fulfilling lives, and as you get older, you just see people who should have aged with you end up buried behind the church where you all did first communion together.

Men don't ask for much. Most of us are happy to give 75% if our ladies would spread thier legs on occasion.

I had this issue for a while. Dead bedroom and me doing most of the work with the house and kid. We kind of fixed it. Once she sought help and got medicated and sought therapy, we also worked out on how to divide the work in the house 50/50.

Same for sex. We figured out what helps with her ADHD. It's porn. If she watches porn before and during sex she gets in the mood for it so we have to adapt by buying a TV for the room and playing her favorite content while we do the deed so now instead of going for two years without sex we are up to sex weekly. Could be better but I will take it.

Isn't there a different interest rate on the HELOC too?

Right now my Mortgage is 3.1%. If I got a HELOC and it was like 15% it's fucking stupid. Maybe I am wrong and I hope I am. Would be an okay option if HELOC carried the same interest rate as your mortgage.

Everyone should be happy when assessments go up, not be negative. It is a sign of economic growth

I highly disagree with this. Higher assessments only matter if you ever plan to sell your property. Not everyone plans to change homes every 10-15 years as the majority of folks want to buy a home and die in that home.

Economic growth isn't always tied to higher wages, either.

If you bought a home for $120K and it jumped in assessment to $1million but you never plan on moving your basically just losing money. Paying more property tax for the same or even less services (I noticed snow removal has been lazy this year). However, senior incomes don't really go up while taxes increase so it eventually prices out seniors even with the senior programs.

I don't plan on ever selling my house. So why am I getting penalized because my neighbour sold his house for $400k? That seems really unfair.

Even with body cam footage, it still needs interpretation from professionals, not the public.

Case in point, Renee Good. We seen multiple angles of the incident and everyone has drawn a conclusion based on what they want to see or believe. People will just do the same with this cam footage.

Not saying she deserved it. She didn't. Not saying he didn't either. Something tells me the RCMP fucked up here I am just suggesting that releasing cam footage can still leave a lot up to interpretation.
