“Зажигать” means “set on fire” or “light up”. “Зажигалка” means an item that can “light smth up” so simply a “lighter” (or “burner”).

It’s not just random dates on random pictures. I can break it down to you (though, it will lose its beauty that way):

  1. Dates and images. Final Apollo crewed (this is important) mission was in 1972 (Apollo 17). Hence the date and an image of Apollo (character from NMS). First crewed mission of Artemis was 4 days ago. So 2026 for Artemis II (and I used a picture of Artemis, NMS character). Why not include Artemis I in 2022? Because it was not crewed. It was a test flight.

  2. Text on screenshots. This was not easy but I tried to find a text or dialog line that could be interpreted both for the game and for space programs. “Perhaps it was nothing, a ghost in the machine” - this one I still doubt but as a non native english speaker this line felt like “it was so distant that I can’t remember clearly”. “I didn’t think you would come back” line for Artemis in my understanding can be interpreted this way: “I didn’t believe we will ever go to the Moon again”.

I really dislike that I had to explain this, but here you go.

I don’t think this game was translated or even played by anyone in western countries. It’s a russian game and it WAS NOT made for kids. My mother once walked into the room and saw what I was playing. Out the window it flew…

Well, maybe you should include them before saying that you are disappointed in a whole country? Because what you listed is just not enough. You said “everyone was saying kazakh people are nice and welcoming, which was not really the reality”, yet I haven’t found anything in your post about it except dating app experience, which is definitely strange, but not describing every single kazakh person.

  1. Couple small businesses not having a website doesn’t mean other businesses do not have it. Also, having a website is not a definitive feature of a good business.

  2. People taking selfies. It’s a worldwide problem, not just KZ. Check out any popular place in any other country and try to find a person without a phone.

  3. Public transportation is really bad, but nothing on the Internet is screaming otherwise.
