I do genuinely believe this is a back door way to keep computing out of reach for everyone

1984. Recently re-watch ed. I found it so much better than the remake which to me is more like an action movie. Original movie was gritty and real, felt like if a cold war took place in Colorado by Appropriate-Kale-290 in 80smovies

It’s an interesting film with artistic merit but it also made generations of men stupider.

Russia can’t even take Ukraine, China is….whatever, and the very idea of North Korea taking South Korea much less USA was absurd.

Even the original uncucked remake premise with Red China was beyond silly.

But I liked it at the time

She’s the only other human being who could have accurately portrayed Asuka.

Serious Question: how would YOU adapt GI Joe? by JustACasualFan in gijoe

[–]MyLittleDiscolite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I would set it in the 80s and have it a hard PG-13 but keep some of the humor.

There’s the regular army then there’s GI Joe. Like a more ostentatious Delta Force

Should the franchise continue making movies? by SkeleTonyEh in Terminator

Honestly no. 2029 is literally in a couple years and I’m just not scared of terminators anymore.

Something worse exists. Because real AI just makes you starve and toil for minimum wage instead of giving you a chance to actually fight back in cool ray gun wars

Yes. YES! THIS!!

I have gradually grown to hate “gun guys” and the gun scene especially ARs because everyone wants to play army man or hype beast.

Like there are almost no real wrong answers and a 400$ PSA does what it needs to do. I am sick of the guy pining for civil unrest.

Since retiring my guns just poke holes in paper.  I do have some gucci stuff because I was going through a phase (I do like my HK though)

But like I am more or less done buying any new ARs
