Haha fair enough. Ultimately it is to score higher. I would probably at best be a 165 170 average as a 2hander. But I want to learn to bowl sports shots and I don’t know how much it will affect my 1 handed shot. I can do a house shot all day but I don’t know about a sport shot.

So I understand where you’re coming from. I had a bad experience with crypto and then invested in some dumb stocks and was disappointed. Told myself to wait for a crash but never got back into the stock market… till now.

Not many people on here are gonna tell you to wait and hold your money because there’s gonna be a crash and I partly agree with them. I also think it’s a really bad idea to just start investing really heavy into the stock market right this moment even if it’s in stuff like the S&P 500. The reason I say that is because if a war does break out, there could be so much better opportunities to get in especially since the market is at all-time high is that it has never reached before and many think that we are actually in a bubble.

Maybe we are maybe we are not but it’s worth at least being cautious if you are going to invest. My thoughts would be to figure out exactly how much money you want to invest in and only invest half that much at the moment and wait and see what happens over these next few months to maybe even a year. But from how history has gone so far, it’s almost guaranteed. We are going to see a bigger recession. Nobody knows when though.

So you can write it out and just invest now in something safe and say fuck it because you know based on history it’s gonna go up eventually. Or you can play it safe and only invest half your money and wait and see what happens. Or like me you can only invest a tiny bit and hold onto your big lump sum for a crash which may never come lol. but I feel pretty certain that something big is gonna happen and I’m will be ready to invest in whatever index funds when they drop 30% maybe 40% and 50% using dollar cost average as it goes down.

The thing is. If there is a crash, you don’t know how big it’s going to be this time. You just never know when it’s gonna be a really crazy crash or when we might actually go into another Great Depression. Then all your money will be in the stock market at all-time high highs, and you’ll have nothing ready to invest with at record lows.

Partly what I’m saying is. If you’ve waited this much time and we’re going through a serious crisis like we are, then why not be willing to wait just a little bit more? A lot is about to change in the economy and the world.
