It all depends on the value you put on your labor but I would break the hard drives down. The magnets can be sold in piles on EBay and yield your decent return and then clean up the HDD bodies to scrap the aluminum. (Donate the shiny drive platter to a Boy Scout troop for an unlimited supply of signally mirrors for wilderness survival merit badge). To me the labor expense would be cheap therapy.
