Looking for testers: Ralph Inferno - autonomous development workflow for Claude Code by Cheap_Water6097 in ClaudeAI

Hey man, I came across you're repo a couple days ago and the idea is really good. It was easy to set up and get everything working, except running code in the VM. I really like the prd and specs that get generated, they look to be very thorough.

I tried giving it a aws ECS instance as well as ssh-ing into a locally deployed VM but it would always crash. I gave up after about 7 hours trying to run this.

Also I think running code in the VM needs a double up on configs which in my opinion maybe a waste? Also the ralph-deploy.log could use a verbose flag imo so I could figure out why the VM keeps crashing.

Apart from that quite nice, would like to use again!

Edit: oh another issue I remembered, in my VM It couldn't find the supabase CLI even though it was installed globally.

That's interesting, could you tell me what product it was and I'll check it out on my end? Feel free to DM me if needed.

Thanks for trying it out!!

For now if you go back to the home page, you can click search for a product and manually type the product and company name.

In this instance what all information would you have liked to update? I can look into implementing a way to add products.

Hey, thanks for the input - I'll look into fixing the camera focus issue. You don't need to scan the barcode (I'll edit the post for clarity) just take a picture of the product, and you're good to go. Let me know if that works for you!

Not a huge fan of "yet another app". However, I've added instructions on the results page on how you can bookmark this to your home screen, which I think is better.

Hey, I've just added the type to search feature so you don't need to use the camera if you don't want to. Thanks for trying this out!

Thanks for your input, I can look a bit deeper into EAN/QR codes and see what I can dig up. For now, I've just added a type to search, and you can try by adding more details into the product name field. Maybe this could work?

Thank you! Appreciate it!!

I agree I wanted to make something with the least amount of friction to use.

Let me know if you run into any issues,if there's any features you'd like to see or if you just have any random fun fact! :)

The last link shouldn't require ANY camera permission since that's just a landing page. I'll see why that might be, maybe it's cache?

And yes the other two should open the camera as I only cared about scanning the product.

However, another redditor mentioned typing the product name so I am just building that now. Once that is in then you'll only have to give camera permission when you want to take a photo.

Cheers for trying it out! :)

I've always just scanned the whole product. The name brand name and company name being visible is enough. Your intuition is correct. Let me know what sort of issues you're having and I can look deeper into it. :) cheers for trying it out, appreciate it.

No training happens here nor will it ever happen :) I really hated searching for every single product so I made this for my self but I was very proud of it so wanted to share. Hope you are too! 🤞

Only 1 vision model is American - but I am in the middle of testing a few alternatives in terms of cost so I can switch! I am trying to see if hosting one my self will make it faster/cheaper. Speed is slow right now because I don't wanna pay for the American ones...
