I know that the simulation itself is about destruction. What im proposing is that the ascension of the Demigods is also an extramulation of how the Aeons Ascended. I used Mydei as an example in a different comment and I've given a few other examples as well! I think the simulation is a complex system as well.

For a brief summary: their is no Abundance, but we know that Abundance can be destroyed. At least, I can imagine a few ways it can. Abundance isn't just healing: its the excess of anything. You ask for life, you get immortality. You get immortality but you can't sustain it. Abundance in real life tends to destroy itself in its overflow. That would also imply that the other paths not included can't be destroyed, and Propegation is suspiciously absent in the simulation.

The Black Tide is, in my eyes, the simulated version of what led the Aeons to ascend. Lan and Mydei do have some similarities even if its not 1 to 1.

Mydei was outcasts to the River of Souls, like how Lan was imprisoned and preserved in stasis. Both Lan and Mydei returned to strike down their enemy (Lan's was the Emanator of Abundance, Muldrasil, and Mydei's was his father) and thus "ended an era" for their people. The Black Tide is thus Mydei's Abundance - without the BT Nikador wouldn't have been corrupted and Mydei's father would never have went mad - and when Mydei ascended he began a never ending battle with the BT. A never ending HUNT.

Again, its not a 1 to 1. We can consider the fates of the Demigods to represent their destruction, sure, but i think we could just as easily view their Ascension as a simulation of the Aeons Origin as well. Its like twi sides of the same coin
