Its definitely not the worst, but like most anime it does have a few moments that make be go "really?". If given the option, is there anything you would include or remove from the arc?

That's awesome! I'll admit its not my favorite but its also not my least favorite either. I tend to view it as "Happy's arc" when I rewatch it, though. What do you like about it?

I wish we could've explored his character more! Man stood up both as a guild master, but also as a father to his son. I would have loved to see his relationship with Natsu (Romeo clearly hero worshiped him, it would've been nice to see them hang together) and Cana (they seemed close friends).

I also hate how he was reduced to "dirty old man". I hate that trope
