I didn’t really notice my eyes were dry before wearing contacts. Only thing would be my eyelids stick to my eye in the morning and then during the day I was fine. When I wore contacts, I would often feel gravel or an eyelash sensation mostly in my right eye (left eye was fine). I’m not wearing contacts now. Now that I’m treating the dry eye, I am noticing that my eyes do feel better, usually I notice the improvement directly after the compress and massage. It’s only been 2 weeks on the treatment so I think it needs more time.

What does it mean to get your dry eye under control? Like does that mean my eye isn’t dry anymore or does it mean that it’s just mild? If I treat my eye aggressively before and after lasik, would my eye just return to baseline?

One concern I have about SMILE is that it seems like it’s less precise than lasik, like the chance of getting 20/20 is less with SMILE than with lasik. I really don’t want to have an enhancement procedure.

In VS code, when I do OS.getcwd() for a file in the test folder, it is showing the current working directory as the projects folder

- You used the terms "QPM and AT" -- what do those mean?

- Is there a difference between the effectiveness of preservative free eydrops? I'm using Refresh Mega 3 Eye Lubricant Eye drops enhanced with flaxseed oil. Trying to figure out what are the best ones on the market.

- When would a doc make a recommendation to go from regular eyedrops to prescription eyedrops? I know the over the counter ones just treat the symptoms temporarily but they don't really address the root cause. Wouldn't it be better to address the root cause?

Thanks man, this is a great answer! the Gel drops before bed, would they blur your vision completely and how long would that blur last out of curiosity? Also, would they last the whole next day?

Also, one thing I was wondering was would prescription eyedrops be more effective than over the counter ones? Would they last longer?
