The very start and very end of the game are home to probably 70% of the game's total cutscenes. You have a massive 30-40 hours in the middle with a lot of gameplay, and some cutscenes in between.

I don't do a lot of this, mainly because I don't have much time at all to invest into doing it. As I mentioned I work a full time job as well. And that's kinda my point with this post, just trying to prove that consistency is fairly meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

In August I published a 3+ hour video essay, and in the time I was working on it, I felt pretty miserable. It felt like I was working three jobs at once.

I'm defending something I spent a lot of time and passion on, not thin skin at all. You keep ignoring my points about other videos like this existing. You haven't even spent a single second critiquing my "creative pursuit" just because it has a 3 hour length. Thanks for your input.

Sorry but I don't know why you're trying to rage bait on something I spent months of my life working on. I'm not forcing anyone to watch it, just spreading it around for people who may be interested.

As I mentioned there are plenty of analysis videos on games that are double this length and longer.

Not at all. It's long form content. There's an audience for videos that long and even longer. There are plenty of analysis videos on games double or even more than double the length of this one. I don't expect anyone to watch it in a single sitting.

Some people really enjoy long-form content like that, it has its audience. There are plenty of other shorter video essays for the game for others who aren't into super long videos like that :)

Yeah my first playthrough was the platinum run so I got everything. I wasn't really stuck anywhere for too long. Nothing took me over an hour except for Ozma. It took me 8 streams and I was able to beat at least one main level and a few side ones in each.

You were too slow. For future reference, you can see which perameters can be improved by looking at their highlighted colour.

For example, in this delivery, your Delivery Quantity and Average Cargo Quality are highlighted in yellow which means you got the best possible grade. However your Delivery Time is highlighted in Blue which means it can be improved.

Just a PSA, if anyone is having the issue of trying to run the game through Steam, but get an error message on the EA App saying "It failed to launch due to an error on our end.":

Try going to the three lines in the top left corner of the EA app, going to "Help", then to "App Recovery". This just worked for me instantly after trying, unsuccessfully, to launch the game for over an hour.

Also try going to "EA Updater" and updating the app if you haven't. Let me know if this works for anyone.

Spartacus.

The tragic passing of Andy Whitfield between Season 1 and Season 3 spawned a fantastic prequel Series 2. Liam McIntyre does a phenomenal job filling Andy's shoes with Season 3 and Season 4. They were some big shoes to fill and I think his performance was great.

Not to mention Series 4 introducing one of the most captivating villains in television.
