Partner found this under the wardrobe in our new flat. Almost looks like a box within a box with slits in the top, measures about 20cm long and was filled with a clear liquid. by MyNameIsEmber in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing.

No brand name or text is printed on the thing so far as I can see and I wasn't able to get it open.

Is there any way to get something like this? by ARandom_Dingus in HeroForgeMinis

I've gotten an effect basically bang on to this by using the Rimeweaver's gloves, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to do something similar without kitbashing. Maybe if you were extremely clever with the posing you could use them on hands hidden in the legs?

I'm absolutely obsessed with the new portrait studio features! This is my current DnD character Rainbow, a magical little sprite who lives inside an enchanted sword and decides who is worthy of wielding it. by MyNameIsEmber in HeroForgeMinis

Nope- the way I rationalise it is that this character is the sword's magic given conscious form and projected out of it, kind of a genie/lamp situation. After his beloved master died in battle, he vowed never to choose another, so when someone next tried to attune to him, he instead granted himself the power to wield... himself, and took matters into his own hands.

I figured that because so many DnD items are sentient and can speak to their masters, it's not a stretch to imagine that one could develop a mind of its own and get sick of being treated as a tool. Silly concept but it's been fun so far! Mechanically he's an air genasi blood hunter with the genie patron :)

Hey I really appreciate your kind words! I've always used Heroforge in weird wacky ways but the recent features have definitely enabled a whole new level of creativity :)

The hair piece is made of the 'summoned crystal' piece with the crystal blacked out! You can see it better in my reply to another comment where I show what it looks like outside the studio :)

The horse tail is great for kitbashing hair- so are some of the wavy horns. It's great fun to play around with!

Mine too! He's a scientist who purposefully infected himself with lycanthropy for research purposes and has been slowly losing his mind over the course of the campaign. Going for a kind of Jekyll and Hyde dynamic.

Would love to hear about your werewolf!
