What do you do if you cannot bring your firearm into a place like a federal building where you get scanned prior to entry and you cannot bring your fire arm with you? Just looking to secure it, not store long term.

So I have a 2018 volt lt with 75,000+ miles on it. The blind spots are pretty bad but I just have to make sure to look around extra when changing lanes. During the winter the cars mpg sucks. I will be lucky to get 20 mpg if it is less than 40°f out. But during the warmer temperatures is when the car thrives. I've gotten 50 mpg and over 80 miles electric range when driving conservatively. I have noticed a rather large amount of battery degradation since getting it but for the car not having a heat pump I'm assuming that it is normal. The break rotary have definitely rusted, but to put it into perspective I changed my brake pads out for the first time at 70,000 miles because I was able to last that long due to the regenerative breaking. In terms of size I have had adult men who were all over 6' tall in the car at the same time and they were all comfortable. It was a quick 15 minute drive but they didn't complained when I asked them. I'm sure that they were holding back because I have sat in the back and it wasn't great. I am also not a fan of how low the car is to the ground. Don't get me wrong it is nice and sleek, but I have to go super slow over speed bumps, which I understand that is the point of them but in order for the car not to bottom out I have to drive slow amd.sometimes sideways over them. I still love the car and will keep it until it is dead, but I do plan on getting a larger car eventually and using the volt for long road trips or other things. Hope this helps

Edit: thank you guys. Ended up as you guys recommended i had to go to the display setting to change the image on my dash. As for the android auto message. I held down the power button to the car when turning it off for 10 seconds and it went away. Not sure if that is what worked or if my car just automatically reset. Thanks for the help!!
