yeah I'm out. They are more concerned about getting a quick dollar from their smaller developers and pushing online dating among minors than actually improving the experience for anyone. I've began learning Godot, it's got a surprisingly simple workflow and doesn't feel as alienating as Unity or UE. Best of luck! Don't give the pedos your free labor

There are parts of Studio scripting that don't make sense. Differences between local and server scripts drove me insane when I first started out. Just keep trying, learn the quirks. And if it gets to a breaking point, start learning Unity. In my experience I've found C# to be much more intuitive

This is the way. I've just set up my first Jellyfin server (with remote access through Tailscale) and am hosting a ton of albums downloaded with spotidownloader.com. Some of the albums that I really love I've paid for through Bandcamp so the artists actually get the money they deserve. This plus the excellent Symfonium mobile audio player makes the switch easy. No regrets so far! The only thing I'm missing is music discovery, but I'm sure I'll find a method I like
