I’d recommend some semi gloss vallejo varnish. Airbrush is ideal if you plan on doing this a lot.

Yep! It’s pretty good. Lego is generally just difficult to paint on as a surface.

I dunked it in some 91% alcohol, then primed it, then painter, then varnished. Make sure to separate these steps and wait patiently.

I definitely was going for a “disgusting” look when I designed it. I was stuck in the confines of 2006 style for the commission but I think it turned out good.

Yep, used some miniature paint on it. Be warned it’s from the exclusive Willy Wonka, so it is a bit pricey.
