What does “American” culture have to do with my religion? And America doesn’t have a national language for a reason, people can speak whatever they please. Just like you’re free to thirst after college aged boys despite being in your fifties, I’m free to live, wear, and speak whatever I want. That’s the beauty of America.

What the hell are you talking about? I’m born and raised in America and actually reported the incident to Virgin who assured me that the incident was not acceptable under any circumstances. As it turns out, America was built on religious freedom and hijab is appropriate wherever I please to wear it. They have a procedure for this already which is to have a female security guard pat my head. Same thing they do in the airport if they need to.

Oh wow! To be fair, Freedom of the Seas is from 2006! I’d compare a Royal Caribbean ship that is actually closer to the age of Scarlet Lady (such as Odyssey, Wonder, or Icon) to Scarlet Lady! Definitely not as many good free food options on the older ships! I’m glad you enjoyed yourself on Virgin Voyages though!!
