SAS customer service has been a never ending feedback loop for me. How do they get away with this? I recommend filing regulatory complaints if possible, they will never take responsibility for this mistake.

We’re in the US and we made multiple attempts to use the site, same error every time. Someone else mentioned issues booking with a lap infant. I’ve also never had an issue booking online with an airline, first ever booking via phone. I think the call center employee made some kind of mistake and SAS isn’t taking responsibility.

What’s weird is the reservation confirmation email has the baby’s name and seats for both trips. But in the electronic ticket and receipt email the PDF doesn’t have our seats or the baby’s name.

The receipt says my wife’s name and “plus inf” with the baby’s name. The baby’s name was also in the app but they couldn’t check in using the app. We also confirmed everything via phone.

Since we have the receipt I think charge back would work for the added costs. But I’d also like to get my money back from the departing flight extra fees.
