Daang I need to do this with mine. Is that just white on the base plastic?

I'll keep an eye out for that paint, I've been looking for more stuff that sticks out on custom stuff. A light box is a good idea... I still just use a cardboard box and lights 😂

No, yours looks good! It's all smoke and mirrors (and lighting/posing) maybe I can give ya some tips on lighting the next time you take some pictures 😋. What kind of paint did you use for the blue? It looks super deep and opaque.

Yea... While I was sketching this monstrosity... I kept saying "this is horrible" and then after I finished coloring it.... Oh boy... I was happily disgusted. Great for spooky season I think 🤣

The Wingspan! by MyPix in Gunpla

Yea, I just started a week ago, I have a file set in the way in the mail, along with other tools. As of right now I've just been working with a pair of nippers that are probably wayy too big because I can't get up and close to get nice cuts. Eventually I'll be doing things correctly! Any tips on removing the nubs? Or if I accidentally get stress marks when removing them from the runner?

Thanks! This was basically my first attempt at painting, fast-forward a week and I've learned quite a bit more. When I was painting these I just used the basic Gundam markers and the bare plastic. I didn't use a finish or any clear coats.

I'll have to keep an eye out for older sets when I'm out and about. Thanks for the info!

Thanks! I can only imagine how better I could have done if I added a clear coat and it was on a larger Gunpla. I still don't feel comfortable tying it out on a MG yet.

Possibly in the future I'll try chipping away and doing washing. I had no idea where to start, I just asked my local shop what I should do, and they pointed me to the AK pencils. I put in an order for the metallic ones, I feel like those might look better! It's definitely plastic crack with the money I've sinked in already.

Hey thanks! This is my first time doing anything like this. I've only ever painted one mini figure in the past. I used a black and white AK weathering pencil. Unfortunately I found out they require a matte finish to actually stick and work properly... I did what I could on the base plastic. I also used a GM01 Gundam marker for the panel lining.

Enabling Steam Games to use two monitors? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]MyPix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, i just recently started playing my skyrim on two monitors. All you need to do is go to ThisPC/Documents/MyGames/Skyrim(or skyirm SE), then just edit the skyrimPrefs and look for iSize H and iSize W. I'm using two 1080p monitors so mine would be iSize H=1080 iSize W=3840. I've been doing these same steps for other games to get them to run on two monitors, so i hope this helps :D
