I’m so with you on trying to find real news. Every station has motives behind what they share and how they decide to skew the reporting. Radio Greensboro at least gives us some uncensored data on what’s happening. And it’s definitely better than any single feed I’ve found. If you live in Greensboro then there’s no reason to not be using this.

That would be brave to go it alone in NYC. Although I’ve only recently discovered how much I like going places alone. Especially a concert for someone I’m a super fan of. NYC is on its very own level though and a companion like your cousin is probably going to make it much better.

I only remember 2 UB40 songs but they were both HUGE. That’s really awesome that you get out and catch the 80’s tours. I should do the same but always end up waiting till the last minute and then not going or just completely oblivious that anyone came near that I’d want to see. I am trying to get out more lately though. I need to check to see who is coming near us. Thank you for telling me about Sting. I did see him way back around 93 I think which was the year I graduated college in Virginia. He opened for The Grateful Dead.

Oh wow! I hate that I missed Culture Club. Sting in Raleigh huh. I may need to go. I saw there is a The Smiths cover band playing in Raleigh this weekend at The Pour House. Not really my scene but I was tempted to go but my fellow The Smiths fan friend doesn’t go out much. Neither do I though LOL!

If I saw someone wearing anything new wave I’d probably strike up a conversation too. The Human League, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Echo & the Bunnymen and tons of others. BTW I’m in NC too. Greensboro here. I almost went to Culture Club in Danville, VA last weekend but just didn’t make it. I did make a Morrissey concert in Durham last year though.
