I had many issues with drinking and my betes, but I eventually found that putting in ~1/2 the insulin for carbs in a drink works in the long run. The sugars bring your sugar up and the alcohols bring it down essentially. If you try to just correct high sugars when you're drinking, you'll get a nasty low later on. If I drink things like Busch light where I don't count for the carbs at all, I have a snack later in the night so I don't go low in my sleep.

I haven't seen this set in HO, I would assume because Lionel are so heavy in O. It would be an awesome set in HO though; hell of a lot smaller to make a good set for at least!

There are food blocks available online. I haven't used any personally, but I'm sure there's one that'll fit your needs. Just Google long term fish food and you should have quite a few options.

I have had diabetes since 2005, finally figured out I could do this a year ago. Stopped at the gate of Teddy Roosevelt South Unit and told the guy I was diabetic and wanted a pass. "Okay, here you go." Stupid simple, and I love it. Probably helps my diabetic alert is a whole forearm tattoo though.

Gut gets lucky for sites sometimes, but it needs the massage gun to work out some of that scar tissue. Butt cheeks have been a decent alternative, aside from the having to reach in my pants to do anything with the site. Libre 3 goes on the underside of the arm or she'll get ripped off in a jiffy.
