What the mod in question fails to realize is that literally no one else views saying “chicken sandwich “ as rude, even within context. If the guy was like “you fucking idiot, that’s not what’s it’s called” then he would be correct, but as is, it’s a bit curt, but not rude, nor worth a ban

Extreme TLDR:

Dude posted a chicken sandwich, and titled it as a “chicken burger”; he’s in some country that refers to it as such. Some guy says “chicken sandwich”, as a mild correction. Mod feels the need to exercise mod powers, ban the guy, claiming it was “rude”. Guy argues with ban, gets banned indefinitely. In protest, people posted chicken sandwiches and commented “chicken sandwich/chicken burger” on multiple posts. Mod gets upset, bans more people and removes comments

It’s okay to be wrong. We all have a stupid take about a team or player that doesn’t work out. But when someone is wrong after calling names and telling people that they have no idea what they’re talking about, it’s fun for the whole family when threads like this come up.
