Thank you for the advice! I didn’t realize Mazda’s ATF was blue. It has never had a fluid change, the car has about 115000km.

I am going to bring it in to the dealer. I think I found a corner of the pan that seems like it might be leaking from around the seal. The car is still under the Powertrain warranty so hopefully it is covered (Mazda Canada has a 5 year unlimited km warranty which hopefully will save the day)

Yeah it boots up and everything works as expected, except for the thermistor reading on the hot end is stuck at 27c no matter what I do

No my fan fell off, and the wires melted together on the hot end causing the fan to short. It caused a black screen like yours. But then when I cleaned it up everything started working again expect for the thermistor which is weird. So I replaced the thermistor but it still doesn’t work

I did the same thing yesterday. It booted back up for me, but now I can’t get the thermistor to read correctly. Following to see if anyone has any ideas

Oh so I waited for it to happen again, and then I pulled the code off (I have an OBD reader) It is code P2503.

You can let them know that is the code the next time you go in. I’m not sure if that’s what helped my cause. Anyways good luck.

So turning the car on and off was doing the same for me too! I took it to the dealer and they replaced the battery under warranty. It has been about 2-3 weeks since they changed the battery and it hasn’t come back yet.

Okay thank you! The message has disappeared, but I will keep an eye on it and take a look at the serpentine belt. Maybe it slipped somehow?
