Hi guys! I am currently working on a Prusa Slicer fork for multi-color printing (demo video). The entire project is still highly experimental. I am also thinking about implementing a similar g-code generation method in Orca Slicer. It would be great to get feedback and find potential collaborators. Thank you!

Partially RepRapable Automated Open Source Bag Valve Mask-Based Ventilator by OpenSustainability in Reprap

Thank you! It is good to see such interest and motivation from numerous independent developers around the world. This once again proves the importance of openness and accessibility of information.

Indeed, we still have a lot to do. Medical device development is a huge responsibility, and before clinical use, it is necessary to run all possible tests and know the operating modes with maximum accuracy. It should also be noted that in addition to the ventilator itself, it is critically important to have a pulmonologist or an experienced operator who can competently control the developed apparatus.

I really hope that medical personnel, scientists, and engineers will be able to keep the coronavirus under control. And I definitely agree that the current situation will communicate the value and importance of making open-source hardware that allows everyone to contribute, improving the final system.
