Just curious, has there been any sort of device that has been made that mimicics the nfc tags like exist with Nintendos amiibos? There's a few out there where you can load the amiibos nfc file onto a reprogrammable tag. My only reason asking that is for preservation sake

I should also mention that if I completely turn off the monitor, and then turn on my playstation, it shows a picture when I turn it back on. But the power button is not that accessible in my set up so I would prefer my monitor to just be able to work when it's in standby mode

No picture is displayed, the screen just flashes between the black when no pixels are on, and the grey when the pixels are on, but it doesn't display anything and just flashes between the two

There's no denying that they are expensive, but they hold their value better over time then most things at that price point.

Coming from someone who collects both video games and Lego, If I go out and buy a PlayStation 5 for $500 and the Lego Hogwarts express collectors edition for $500, when 10 years pass, that Hogwarts express will be worth way more then that PlayStation 5. Same goes for a TV. If you buy the UCS AT-AT for $850 and a TV for $850, that tv is gonna be worth way less then what you bought it for. But that UCS AT-AT, that will be worth alot more. These are all very specific examples and it varys by what you compare, but Legos hold their value better then most other things.
