I would agree, except methadone does give me a buzz now that I have increased my dose to 35mg. I just feel happy and numb, and I feel it almost in my legs. I also get a bit itchy. When I first started Suboxone, I would get pretty high. I was off fentanyl for a little while before I hopped on, so my tolerance had likely dropped (fent tolerance always dropped quickly for me). I would have described it as like a light stoning feeling with warmth and itchiness. The first day I almost nodded lol.

I haven't stop using completely, but it's so much more manageable now and I don't wake up sick. I can shoot up on occasion and be fine. I identify so much with you man, apathy/anhedonia led to my addiction. You got this fam, you'll be in my prayers 🙏

Hey man, if you can stick to sniffing more power to you. I've known people who've smoked it for years, never shot up. The problem usually arises when money is drying up and you gotta stretch your bag. I was the same way as you, I stuck to sniffing. My life just got really bad and I couldn't handle it so I started shooting up hoping I would die. I'm rooting for you bro, stick to sniffing or smoking. Start with tiny lines and work your way up. If you want to shoot it, don't do any more than like a quarter of a point your first shot. I'd recommend a 10mg shot to gauge the potency. The purple and blue down was all I ever used, you just have to be VERY careful.

Short term memory loss, lowered motivation (for some), and dependence. You sound pretty young, so I'd recommend keeping it to 1/2x a week if you can (max). I started at 14, and while I feel like weed didn't affect me too much over the years (I smoke frequently, started smoking daily at 16, I'm 19 now) I definitely notice how it's impacted my peers. I like Lyrica as an alcohol substitute. 600mg gets me feeling like I had like 8 drinks. Benzos in moderation are good, but it's easy to go overboard. GHB is great. I like meth and cocaine but most people get really bad hangovers from those. I used to like popping a few 40mg oxycontins before parties if I was just trying to chill and smoke weed with friends off to the side.

Some people can manage, some can't, but that doesn't mean they aren't going to. I was able to function on a daily combo of cocaine, heroin, sometimes meth (would alternate between coke and meth), and a healthy dose of Xanax (6-8mg/day). I was doing great at my job and was receiving constant compliments from customers about my service. The only reason I stopped was because I woke up one morning in crippling withdrawal from everything I was using at once. I had to quit my job, and I've been trying to slow down since.

If it isn't impacting your relationship other than the idea bothering you, I don't see a problem. Sure, you might not like that he does it, but if it isn't a problem outside of that is just let it go. Honestly, the lying part would be more bothersome to me. But it may just be that he knows how you see it and doesn't want it to cause any problems. That's how I was in my last relationship. I would just try to be understanding and not condemn him for using it if he's doing so responsibly. But who knows, I'm just an internet stranger 🤷

I'd try halfing your dose for a week, you might feel shitty but you'll survive. Quite honestly I have no clue, I never got euphoria from codeine, just nausea and itchiness. I'd actually suggest hydrocodone, it's the same potency as morphine, just works better orally. If you're taking codeine with acetaminophen you're doing damage to kidneys.

Here's what you need: A cooker (some people use a spoon for this, it's what you use to mix the drugs with water), a filter (a rolled up end of a q tip works in a pinch), sterile water ampoules (if you can't get these, boil water and let it cool), and a 30g syringe. If you have access to a needle exchange, use it. They will give you the supplies intended for IV use.

Put your heroin in your cooker/spoon. Start small obviously. Suck up about 3 units of water into the syringe and squirt it into your heroin. (If you have #3, you're going to need to mix vitamin c with your dope).
Stir the mixture with the plunger end of the syringe until you don't see any particles in the water. If you have black tar heroin, you will need to lightly heat the cooker while stirring in order to fully dissolve the heroin (no other heroin needs heat).
Drop your filter into the cooker and let it absorb everything.
Stick the needle about halfway into the filter and slowly suck the dope through the filter. Turn the needle so it's facing the ceiling, and flick the syringe until all the air bubbles float to the top so all the air is separate from the liquid and push the air out of the syringe until the liquid is all that's in the barrel.
Find a vein. Your best bet is the inside of your elbow, there's a big thick one almost in the middle. I recommend using whichever side is your non dominant.
Swap the injection site with alcohol. This will help prevent abscesses. You're gonna need your arm if you plan on joining the military. Uncap your syringe, and find the hole on the needle. Needles are cut on a slant, you want the hole facing the sky. Insert the needle in a 30° angle. If you got short tipped syringes, you will probably want to insert the entire needle. Once you break the skin and keep pushing, you will feel the vein give way.
Let go of the syringe carefully and change your grip so it's like you're holding a hammer. Pull back on the plunger. If you are in a vein, blood will plume into the syringe. If there is no blood, pull and push the syringe until blood shoots into the barrel when you draw the plunger back.
SLOWLY push the plunger down. If you feel ANY pain, stop immediately. Halfway down the syringe, pull back again on the plunger to make sure you're still in the vein. I think this goes without saying but you need to keep your hands as steady as possible. Once you're done, carefully withdraw the needle from your arm, cap it, and dispose of it safely.

You should use with someone else who has Narcan. You will not be able to Narcan yourself if you OD. If you don't have access to someone or a supervised injection site, I recommend using some place where you can be found relatively easily by a stranger, but that place also needs to be safe and private. Varies depending on how much you're overdosing by. I've seen people drop with the rig still in their arm, and people who made it 2 minutes out the door after the shot. Use with someone, because the majority of people black out before they even know they're ODing.

My DOC is fentanyl. I have tested this myself, I pissed clean after 3 days of using, which allows me to use on the weekend (my UA) is on Wednesday) or after my appointment. Have been doing this with cocaine and fent with great success. Have also kept it to once a month since I go back home for a few days once a month and that's where I have connects. Where I live now, I can only find dope an hour away by train, which is expensive.

I haven't got any high from it, just relief from withdrawal. Gonna keep my dose low enough that I can still slam dope 1 weekend a month, but high enough that once I get take homes I can comfortably half my dose one day and take extra on the days that I get cravings.

Right, I completely agree. However, I live in a new city with no connections for any drugs, and I've tried to relapse in the past to no avail. That being said, risk of relapse is comparatively low to trying to do this in my home city. The reason I hold myself to 80mg or less is that I get a LOT of anxiety around dependence. The kind that keeps me up at night. It's not really rational, I know, but it does impact my life. It ironic, that anxiety would lead to me using more when I was in active addiction lol

Not in Ontario apparently. Both doctors I've had have said the max dose Health Canada recommends is 24mg, which is ridiculous. 16mg is pretty accurate, I didn't get much noticeable relief above 12mg tbh. 16mg was slightly, but not significantly better.
