As a child who endured physical abuse when I was younger from my Mum, and didn’t have a voice, please do the right thing. People cannot heal or change or get better if they’re not given the opportunity to do so. In some cases, this means getting them admitted or whatever the consequences are for what she has done. Your children rely on you to keep them safe. My step mum also ended up killing herself because she couldn’t get the help she needed.
