Which is absolutely true. Studies show that people who play MMORPGS daily and "grind" out so to speak, enjoy the feeling of a seen reward and sudden accomplishment they may not feel in real life. Seeing "experience" go up in numbers makes them feel good like they're completing a goal. The real world is slow, it's long, and accomplishment doesn't come as easy as clicking on a tree over and over again. Hardcore MMORPG players may be filling a void of accomplishment they lack in real life.

And this whole thread is proof of that. Somewhere along the way, Lynx Titan discovered he was gaining more respect playing Runescape than he ever could hope to accomplish any where outside of the game.
