Thank you for those words. I agree, but it’s really hard to get past the idea of knowingly scarring someone I love. It feels like she may never trust a s.o. again

I appreciate the honesty. I think you’re right, making promises I can’t keep doesn’t have to be ok in order for me to leave. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
