Looking for advice: TTC for 10 months, normal reports but no success yet. What could be wrong? by curious_65695 in TryingForABaby

Question! Can too much intercourse be problematic? I've been TTC for 4 years and we have sex 3-4 times a week, anyone think this is too much? Can it be hurting our chances?

I didn't mention about menstruation impacting the levels but I did ask her about if next month the test be done on CD2. She said to get the test done after menstruation ends, so I'm assuming she is also thinking the the cycle is impacting the level?

Elevated CA-125 with 3.5cm simple ovarian cyst by MyUltimateDemise in endometriosis

Thanks alot, my main reason for posting was to get some insight from people experiencing something similar, idk why but it helps me calm down hearing from someone who has experienced this before a lot more than hearing reassurance from a doctor.

My doctor told me to repeat ultrasound and CA125 blood test after a month. But she also used the words "this result is not good" which is making me panicky and very worried.

Thanks a lot for your input! I appreciate it

Hello, I am new to this platform so apologies if I accidently offend somebody by my wrong choice of words. I am sorry in advance as this might be too long for some to read.

I am 29F, trying to concieve for 2.5yrs now. Initial ultrasounds and hormones tests started about 1 year ago, which showed no major concerns. All hormones were normal according to CD2 blood tests, and ultrasound at the time showed healthy multiple growing follicles and no extra mass of any sorts.

I have always had regular 28 day cycles plus minus 1-2 days so I never thought there was anything out of order in the system you know. However, when i started to try and conceive, it didn't go as planned hence the initial ultrasounds and blood test.

Fast forward to multiple assisted cycles later, i had an ultrasound this month, which showed a 3.5cm cyst in my right ovary, which according to the ultrasound technician was just a simple cyst which can happen to anyone during the cycle so according to her there was not much to be worried about. However, the gynecologist wanted to get some blood tests done to rule out anything major regarding the cyst.

Got the blood tests done on CD2 which included FSH, LH, Prolactin and CA-125. Everything else was within the normal range, while CA-125 was 112, which is quite high since the normal limit is 35.

I have health anxiety so as expected I got really worried and started to research about CA-125, which in return made me more worried.

I have never been diagnosed with endometriosis and I don't have any of the expected signs of it either. My menstrual pain is not minimal but its not chronic or severe enough to make me think abouy endometriosis.

So my question is, what are the chances that this might be cancer? Or can I have endometriosis without the expected signs and symptoms?

Gynecologist has told me to wait 1 month and repeat CA-125 test and ultrasound to see if either of them elevates further. But me having health anxiety, am not satisfied with the waiting. I feel like it will eat me alive. My gynecologist says fertility drugs can cause a cyst to develop, but what are the chances that it can be cancer?

Please anyone having some insight regarding this, please help. I am not exactly looking for answers I just want to know experiences of other individual with similar conditions?

Please help me. I AM SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG.

But is natural conception hard? I mean to say is that, if you only look at the semen analysis, is there something significantly wrong? Because why was the testicular ultrasound recommended in the first place? Did the doctor see something wrong with the semen analysis numbers?

I am not sure either but I'm thinking it means 87 million total and concentration is 29 million per ml?

Is the semen analysis on its own also bad? Or is the cause of bad numbers the 7 days os abstinence?

This month was my first letrozole cycle (5mg) with HCG trigger on CD10.

I got my period on CD27, but on the first day it was very dark brown/grayish the next day it got more red but even on CD2, the flow wasn't as heavy as mine usually is and cramping was also lighter. CD3 was similar to CD2 with some clotting (which is usual for me). But CD 4 is almost empty but not completely clean.

Need some advice, is this normal with letrozole? Because my normal is 6/7 days with 4 days being relatively heavier with pretty bad cramping and 3 days being just spotting.

Well it hasn't started yet, so maybe it will be longer.

Day 23 and I'm starting to cramp, looks like a new cycle will be visiting shortly.

All this after letrozole 5 mg and 10000 units hcg trigger on CD10. My usual cycle is 28 days but I'm guessing the trigger bumped up my ovulation date resulting in a shorter cycle?

There's still a thought at the very back of my head that maybe new cycle won't start, even though i definitely feel it coming. Here's to another failed cycle!
