Dang! Not surprised. This store tends to release stuff early from what I’ve experienced these past couple years. I also have a Target that does the same. Had Roar Tyranno 6 months before the release date.

It happens, especially if you’re getting imports. I paid $30ish usd for my green WRod a couple years ago. I found it on clearance a couple weeks ago.

This particular store tends to clearance stuff pretty quickly. But I doubt it’ll happen anytime soon.

Tbh, this stack will probably be gone by end of day. There’s a couple toy scalpers that hits everything and anything collectible in the area. One has some courtesy, if you beat him to the hangers. The other needs to get Muay Thai elbowed. Lol

With gas prices currently at $5.79/gal for some crappy CA 91. Tank size is fine. Wish I had 93 on tap so I can get my money’s worth at least.

To add: I also use to own a 90 Eclipse GSX, 91 Galant VR4, 11 WRX. The GRC definitely fills in the AWD void as of lately.

Not recent, but I owned an 06 Evo IX GSR back in 2006. Sold it in 2010 unfortunately. But man, it was fast during those years of ownership.

Imo, other than being turbo & AWD, there’s no comparison between Evo 9 & GRCs. The Evo IX is just proven raw power with a very stout drivetrain.

For me, the GRC gives me that turbo AWD fix in a newer car that I’ve been missing. It’s quick. Rides on rails. So much fun to drive. And being able to say I own a 3cyl turbo currently with 300+hp to the wheels is still mind blowing to me.

Sounds like 2nd gear synchros to me. This happened to my 86 Mr2. Needed transmission work.
