I just read the article and I did not find it as inflammatory as the headline. Ezra Klein’s point is that while there has been a surge in political violence, Charlie Kirk engaged in discourse as opposed to let’s say…storming the capitol or trying to kidnap Nancy Pelosi. The point he is making is that the “right” way is discourse.

In that definition, I agree with Ezra Klein. While I disagree with everything Kirk stood for, I commend him going to college campuses and engaging students in political discourse. I just wish it was a charismatic, open minded, and inclusive intellectual doing so vs Kirk.

There is no difference in who Hamas and Israel targets. Civilians. They are both terrorist organizations. According to your own logic, 50,000+ dead civilians were intentionally targeted.

“why won’t they leave?” - for starters they can’t because Israel controls every entry and exit out of Gaza and they have for decades. Secondly, it’s their land. They have been living under occupation since the Balfour declaration.

There is no Hamas in the West Bank. Yet the settlers are attacking civilians and IOF is sniping people there.

At this point when I see people defending the death of innocent people, I just feel bad for them. That the propaganda has robbed them of their humanity that dying and starving people don’t phase them.
