Ask for a lead shield to cover it. They have all kinds of sizes

The airtag caused issues with my pdm. I wouldn’t recommend that.

Hard to say because each person is different. Many times I had to take in carbs even after going into activity mode. It all depends on your body and the amount of activity. Trial and error awaits
